Real Style: What are your three spring essential must-haves for women this spring and why?
Adrienne Shoom: The Joe Fresh silk shirt – the perfect layering piece. Look for new sorbet shades like mint green, ice blue and pale yellow.
White skinny jeans are a must-have! They work with everything and from day to night.
Anything with stripes – go for bold black and white combinations.

RS: What are your favourite trends this season?
AS: I love this season’s new softer silhouette. Look for this season’s soft blazer, shorts and pajama pants.
Mixing prints is a trend that is still going strong for spring and summer. Try a Joe Fresh tweed pencil skirt with a pretty print crewneck sweatshirt sweater.
I also love all the bold graphic stripes that were all over the runway.
RS: What are your favourite spring accessories?
AS: Retro-inspired sunglasses; I love the Joe Fresh tortoise shell, cats eye sunglasses!

RS: What is the biggest style mistake women make in the spring?
AS: I don’t believe in fashion rules so there are no fashion mistakes! I have been wearing socks and sandals for years!
RS: How do you define your spring collection?
AS: Updated classics in cool colours mixed with sporty influences like racing stripes, techno fabrics and athletic silhouettes.
RS: If women could only buy one piece from your collection this spring, what would it be and why?
AS: Impossible to choose just one! On my Joe spring wish list: pale grey crewneck cashmere sweater, the white cropped skinny jean, a chambray shirt. The list goes on and on….
