Gap Teams Up With Diane von Furstenberg For Kids & Baby Collection

Call it the Kate Middleton effect, but baby and kids clothes are definitely all the rage with designers right now. More proof: Diane von Furstenberg is teaming up with Gap for her second GapKids and babyGap collection. The Spring 2013 DVF for Gap collection will be available for purchase in April 2013 in select GapKids, babyGap and DVF stores as well as online.

“I really loved the challenge of translating my designs into the first DVF for Gap collection,” said Diane von Furstenberg in a statement about her collaboration with Gap. “It was so much fun to see little girls wearing the pieces and I’m looking forward to collaborating with Gap on this second collection.”

It looks like the DVF for Gap collection will be available just in time for two of the biggest new celebrity babies of 2013. Both Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian are due in July. We’re just secretly hoping that some of the extra-large tops are generous enough for us to squeeze into.
