What a front row! Anna Wintour, Kate Moss, Jessica Chastain, Vivienne Westwood, Diane von Furstenberg, Salma Hayek, Francois-Henri Pinault, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, and Riccardo Tisci all came out to see Hedi Slimane launch his first collection for the newly rebranded Saint Laurent last night in Paris. 400 guests were in attendance as Slimane showed off his first women’s collection for Saint Laurent. Slimane was indeed influenced by his new home of Los Angeles when designing this collection. From tassels, feathers and sequins to lace, fringe and leather, nothing was off limits for the designer. The response from the fashion world has been mixed. Some critics claim Hedi disappointed with his “confusing” collection, while others think his injection of all things rocker chic is set to shake up the fashion world. What do you think?
