We love when fashion multi tasks – looks good and is good for us- such as clothing with sunscreen built in. Now Donna Karan, one of our favorite designers and early contributor to our digital Fashion magazine, has come out with hosiery that does double duty. The Evolution hosiery collection is being called a day spa for legs. Here is what Donna wrote on her blog about it:

As a designer, I’m consumed with legs. How to make them look longer, leaner and leggier. That’s why designing hosiery has always been an integral part of my design process. Donna is the Da Vinci if designing clothing that is both stylish and practical, so we for one are excited about the above. There is medical grade compression hosiery on the market which is proven to do what the above claims and more, but this hosiery is not exactly fashion forward. Kudos to Donna for marrying the two. Now if someone can just invent high heels that massage our soles when we walk so our feet feel better the longer we wear them….well, one can dream!
