Last week, we showed you a sneak peek of the gorgeous clothes from the upcoming Maison Martin Margiela For H&M collection. Although the line doesn’t hit stores until November 15th. we’re already getting excited, thanks to last night’s launch party for the line in New York. Julianne Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mena Suvari, Kanye West, Helena Christensen, Selma Blair, Alan Cumming and Chace Crawford were just some of the high profile guests who made it out for the party and wore outfits from the MMM For H&M collection. We guess that’s one of the many perks of being a celebrity: you get first dibs on clothes even before they hit the stores. Sarah Jessica Parker was one of the stand-out stars of the night in an over-sized blazer. As for the men, we thought Kanye looked exceptionally sharp in his MMM for H&M camel coat.
Guests got to see the collection presented in a series of dance performances choreographed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. This is definitely H&M’s most daring and fashion-forward collaboration yet, and it looks like Hollywood approves!
