All White After Labour Day Is Now A Chic Fall Trend

Fall In White

Avoid white after labour day. No black with brown. What’s next- black is out of style? Whoever wrote the passe book on style rules, respectfully, we decline. We’ve seen winter white- the not quite white, snowqueen look, on runways years past. But this fall, there was a clear shift toward cozy, autumnal ivories, creams and even true white head-to-toe looks on the runway.

The Trend

Now, celebs and fashionistas alike are following suit (and often, in suits) in the pale shade. We love this trend when it’s done right as Gwyneth Paltrow recently proved at an event for Tracey Anderson’s Pregnancy Project. She followed designers Derek Lam and Tibi by pairing a substantial, chunky knit top with a minimalist, creamy skirt.

Celebrity Style

To add the unexpected, as she always seems to do so effortlessly, Gwyneth donned bold orange pumps with the all-white ensemble. We bow down to Gwyneth, who always seems to make white looks appear regal and sophisticated. Do the same with these fall-appropriate white looks we’ve hunted down for you.

I THINK WHITE TOPS ARE GOOD BUT I AM NOT SURE IF I WOUD EVER WEAR A WHITE SKIRT OR PANTS IN WINTER. ITS A BIT MUCH AND JUST TOO SUMMERY FOR ME PLUS IT JUST GETS SOO DIRTY AND MESSY WITH WET WINTER WEATHER.
