Alexa Chung received her very own Chanel-inspired hula hoop bag — one of the most talked about looks from Paris Fashion Week — as a gift… from Anderson Cooper. The fashionista was visiting the talk show host on his show this week in New York, and Anderson decided to poke fun at the fashion world by giving the fashion icon his own version of Karl Lagerfeld’s bag, complete with the initials “AC” instead of “CC.” We guess that suits both Anderson and Alexa!

“You really shouldn’t have, no I mean really you shouldn’t have,” Chung joked while modeling her new gift from Anderson. “It’s amazing,” she continued. “I was reading about this and I think Karl Lagerfeld called it ‘a very practical piece’. It seems like a buoyancy aid too, you could really pad it out.”
The Vogue cover girl is a good sport! We’re glad she can take a joke, even if she is coming out with her own fashion book next year! We can’t wait to get a copy, and we’re even more excited for Alexa to appear on this season of Gossip Girl. With just 9 episodes left until the series is over for good, we imagine Alexa’s character will show up any episode now.
