Kristen Stewart‘s return to the red carpet was the most talked about moment of Toronto International Film Festival’s opening night. Kristen is in Toronto to promote her latest film, On the Road, based on the novel by Jack Kerouac of the same name. Before last night, Kristen had not made a scheduled public appearance in support of a film since news broke of her cheating scandal with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Although the rumour mill has speculated that Kristen has had a hard time coping lately, she was all smiles and looked absolutely ravishing at the Toronto premiere of On the Road. The starlet wore a black and floral appliqué dress, reportedly from Zuhair Murad Couture. We love the way her hair looks pulled off her face, highlighting her cheekbones.

Fans who came out to greet Kristen and her costars were energetic and excited to see the Twilight starlet return to the spotlight. Maybe that’s Canada for you, or maybe the world is more forgiving and willing to understand that everyone makes mistakes than we thought. We’re happy to see Kristen looking so gorgeous and returning to the limelight where she belongs.
