As we reported weeks ago, menswear-inspired suiting is one of the top trends for fall fashion straight from the runways. What we didn’t tell you was how to translate these somewhat masculine coordinates into feminine workday wear or super sexy weekend looks for a night out. There are a few ways you can make the power suit a little more soft and a lot more sexy, while remaining on-trend for the season, and we’ve got the top tips here:
1. Prints Charming. Printed suits as seen at Miu Miu and Prada scream fun and feminine, so do your suit in a print or bright colour for a dramatic twist. Below, Tibi Jacket, $252, theoutnet.com.
2 . Fit, fit, fit. Balance proportions with slim-fitting trousers and tailored jackets. This will ensure the look stays glam and ladylike.

3. Killer Shoes. High, sexy, towering stilettos are the best way to turn a suit from tomboy to temptress for a night out. Even for the office, go for a leg-slimming pump rather than flats when you don your suit. Below, L.A.M.B Heels, $325, endless.com.
4. Just Enough Skin. You don’t want to be covered head-to-toe in fabric, you’re going for menswear-inspired, not masculine. So unbutton the top few buttons of your blouse, or better yet, opt for a lightweight, almost sheer blouse or pretty tank under your suit for a touch of girly appeal.
5. Statement Jewels. our favourite add-on of all for an unexpected, sexy spin on the suit trend is adding a huge, bold statement necklace. The serious suit juxtaposed with an out-there bib or collar-style necklace will turn heads just far enough. Below, Asos Necklace, $146, Asos.com.
