Hey! Don’t Toss Those…
Don’t put those floral pants away too far, fashionistas! Now that fall is here, you are probably looking to edit your closet and kick some of your summer staples to the curb. But, with Spring 2013 collections being shown now, we are going to rescue you from throwing away the trendy pieces that will be reborn next spring. So be it a box, a bin, or your very own style time capsule, (or perhaps you’ll still be wearing them for fall), tuck those flower-printed pants away in a safe place.

Fashion Fast Forward
New York Fashion Week wrapped recently, and one of our favourite designers Phillip Lim (see 3.1 Phillip Lim SS13) showed that these blooming bottoms still have their place in fashion for next spring. They will be worn in a more edgy, urban way,90′s-esque and paired with tees and bright jackets.

Evolving Fleurs
We first fell head-over-hibiscus for floral pants last year when designers like Proenza Schouler (see Proenza Schouler SS12) displayed them on runways. Now, the trend has been even reincarnated for fall, oft paired with print coordinates and matching jackets (see Rag & Bone FW 2012). So be a dear, and don’t you dare toss out those floral pants! You’ll thank us next spring!
