Liberty Ross returned to the runway for New York Fashion Week! Liberty has avoided the spotlight since news broke that her husband and father of her two children, Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, had an affair with Kristen Stewart. We love that she opted to return to her modeling roots by appearing in her good friend Alexander Wang’s fashion show in New York this past week. Wang was quoted by The Cut as saying that he asked Liberty to appear in his New York Fashion Week runway show “Because I love her and support her.” We can’t help but like Alexander Wang a little more for that!

Liberty, nevertheless, was incredibly nervous to return to the runway. “I was totally terrified,” Ross said to The Cut at the show’s after-party. “I hadn’t actually been out of my house for seven weeks so I was really anxious. But it felt amazing.” 33-year-old Ross is obviously a lot older than your average runway model, but she definitely reminded everyone why she’s at the top of her game by hitting the runway in style.

This has been a busy weekend for the two women involved in the summer’s biggest relationship scandal. Kristen Stewart made her first scheduled public appearance at Toronto International Film Festival in support of her new film On the Road. Like Liberty, Kristen’s nerves were on edge, but she too pulled off her return to the limelight smoothly.
