Our Favourite Fall 2012 Fashion Campaigns

KATE MOSS,

BALENCIAGA

The main reason we watch the Super Bowl is for the commercials, and half the reason we buy September issues is for the new ad campaigns. This year, the return of the ’90s supermodels is a hot theme of fall/winter 2012/13 campaigns, so who better to kick off our list of the best fall/winter campaigns than the one and only Kate Moss? The queen of the grunge era, Kate has always been a master of transformation. We love that the poster girl for all things heroin chic can still look like a regal, timeless beauty in this Balenciaga fall/winter 2012/13 campaign.

AMBER VALLETTA,

EMILIO PUCCI

We’re happy to see another one of our favourite models from the supermodel era joining Kate Moss in campaigns this fall. Amber Valletta looks just as gorgeous today as she did in the early ’90s.

MONICA CRUZ,

AGENT PROVOCATEUR

Wait a second… Penelope, is that you? We had to do a double-take the first time we saw this ad! Penelope Cruz’ little sister, Mónica Cruz, shows that beauty is indeed something that runs in the Cruz family with her latest fashion campaign for Agent Provocateur. The Spanish beauty definitely reminded us why British label Agent Provocateur is one of our favourite lingerie lines around in this gorgeous fall/winter 2012-13 campaign.

CHLOE SEVIGNY,

MIU MIU

Chloe Sevigny has been a fashion icon since she was a 17-year-old intern at Sassy magazine, and she’s still got it! We love her as the face to Miu Miu’s hot fall/winter 2012-13 campaign.

EWAN MCGREGOR,

BELSTAFF

Avid motorcyclist Ewan mcGregor loves Belstaff so much that he asked to be a part of their fall campaign. We told you all about Ewan McGregor’s Belstaff ad in our post: Ewan McGregor Pitches Himself As A Model.

ROO PANES AND GABRIELLE WILDE,

BURBERRY

Up-and-coming stars, actress Gabriella Wilde and musician Roo Panes, got a serious career boost when they were cast in Burberry’s fall/winter 2012-13 campaign!

ASHLEY GREENE,

DKNY

As one of the hottest rising stars in Hollywood, Twlight actress Ashley Greene is proof that young celebrities have definitely left their mark on the fashion world. From Blake Lively and Leighton Meester to Kristen Stewart and Ashley, Hollywood’s 20-something set have landed some of the fall’s most coveted campaigns. You can’t turn the pages of a magazine without seeing Ashley’s face this fall, and we love her as the current face of DKNY.

DREE HEMINGWAY,

ERMANO SCERVINO

If you didn’t know that model and actress Dree Hemingway was the great-granddaughter of 20th century author Ernest Hemingway, now you do! We’re obsessed with the vibe of her fall/winter 2012-13 campaign for Ermano Scervino.

LINDSEY WIXSON,

MULBERRY

If Dree Hemingway’s Ermano Scervino campaign wasn’t enchanted and mysterious enough for you, feast your eyes on Lindsey Wixson’s fall/winter 2012-13 campaign for Mulberry. We love that the ad seems to take its inspiration from one of our favourite children’s books, Where The Wild Things Are. The campaign was shot on location in Blackheath Forest in Surrey, England. This is Lindsey’s third season as the face of Mulberry, and we definitely are looking forward to seeing more from this fair beauty (and the campaign’s friendly monsters as well!).

MILA KUNIS,

MISS DIOR

Her onscreen Black Swan rival Natalie Portman now has some campaign competition! Mila Kunis channels Old Hollywood glamour is this gorgeous black and white shoot for Miss Dior.

SHALOM HARLOW,

JASON WU

Yet another model from the ’90s making a huge return this fall, Shalom Harlow is the face of Jason Wu’s fall/winter 2012-13 campaign. If all these supermodels from the ’90s are making you nostalgic for the height of the supermodel era, we suggest you watch the 1994 documentary Unzipped tonight. You can thank us later.

KARMEN PEDARU AND NADJA BENDER,

GUCCI

Looking like devilish twins, we love Karmen Pedaru and Nadja Bender for in the fall/winter 2012-13 campaign for Gucci. Sometimes a gorgeous idea (and, of course, two beautiful models) is all you need for an unforgettable shoot.

LANA DEL REY,

H&M

Lana Del Rey is everywhere this fall, but we were completely thrilled to find out that she would be the face of H&M’s fall/winter 2012/13 campaign. The long-haired beauty definitely makes us want to up the retro appeal of our fall wardrobe. Lana has been busy! She’s also the new face of Jaguar.
