A-Line Up
Nicole Richie stepped out in a gothic laser cut leather skirt for the Virgin Sunset Strip Music Festival, and her glam take on the A-line leather skirt has us inspired to wear the trend this fall. We saw leather on essentially every runway for fall fashion, but to make the trend wearable for real life it’s important to take our tips and Nicole’s style savvy inspiration.

Mad For Leather
Runways from Alexander Wang to Givenchy showed luxe leather skirts, but we are loving the flirty meets fierce A-line styles at Milly and DKNY. Taking hints from the Milly look, opt for a soft black A-line skirt you can incorporate into your work wardrobe with tights and ladylike blouses. Or, if you’re a fashion risk taker, take cues from DKNY (and many other designers) and choose a monochromatic look in the season’s hottest wine hues.

Be A Copycat
Nicole’s look is easy to copy, with a black A-line leather skirt and simple black pullover. An all black look benefits from the unique texture of leather combined with Nicole’s fun pop of orange in her accessories. We love the way Nicole always makes a piece her own with her individuality and edge.
