If you haven’t already reserved your ticket to the hottest party in town this fall, now’s your last chance. Elton John is headlining M∙A∙C Viva Glam Fashion Cares 25 on September 9th at Toronto’s Sony Centre. He’ll be joined by Scissors Sisters, Janelle Monáe and Sky Ferreira with special appearances from Aleesia, Anjulie, Jully Black, Diamond Rings, Divine Brown, Keshia Chanté, Jarvis Church, Shawn Desman, Molly Johnson, Elise Legrow, Midway State, Mia Martina, Stephan Moccio, Billy Newton Davis, Carole Pope, Serena Ryder and Kreesha Turner. Since this is the 25th and final Fashion Cares, the event will feature a quarter century retrospective of the most glamourous Fashion Cares looks. There will also be runway presentations by 25 designers, like Vivienne Westwood, Greta Constantine, Pink Tartan, Gareth Pugh, Manish Aurora and DSQUARED2. Did we mention that Linda Evangelista and Dean & Dan Caten of DSQUARED2 will be hosting the event? This is indeed the party of fall 2012.
The final batch of tickets for Fashion Cares is on sale this weekend, starting at $195. Buy your tickets here! Since proceeds from ticket sales go to the AIDS Committee of Toronto, we think it’s well worth the price tag. Over the last 25 years, Fashion Cares has raised approximately $12 million for the ACT. The event has also raised an immeasurable amount of awareness for HIV/AIDS. Showing you care is always in style. We’ll see you there!
