Alexa Chung confirmed that she is launching her own fashion collection! This is going to be a big year for Alexa. First, the renowned style icon joined the oh-so fashionable Gossip Girl cast, making us believe that the final season of Gossip Girl will be the most fashion-heavy yet. So how does she plan to out-do herself? By launching her very own fashion line, of course!

We’ve already seen Alexa design for Madewell, so we know she’s an all-star when it comes to translating her style into her own designs. When asked by Numero Tokyo if she’d be designing her own collection, Alexa said: “Yes, I’m definitely going to do that. I’m looking into it right now. I’ve got nothing to lose, it’s a bit of fun. In this current era of celebrity no one believes you actually design the stuff anyway, even though I sketch everything myself. So if it sucks I can say I had nothing to do with it, and if it’s really good I can say ‘Here are the drawings, it’s all my own work!’”
We can’t wait to see the collection, and we have total faith that Alexa Chung will be one of those celebrities turned designers who actually makes a wearable, gorgeous collection, like Victoria Beckham.
