Banana Republic just released its first looks from the Banana Republic Anna Karenina collection, a special holiday capsule styled by two-time Academy Award-nominated Anna Karenina costume designer Jacqueline Durran. The collection, of course, is inspired by this November’s Anna Karenina, starring Keira Knightley as a young aristocrat who enters into high-society Russia only to entangle herself in an affair with a prominent count. The collection, for both men and women, will feature velvet, faux fur, lace, and a hint of sparkle and will be available in stores in late October.
Reason No. 1 to look forward to winter: We can’t wait to rock the 19th century Russia-inspired faux fur hat!
