We’re huge fans of the bikini, don’t get us wrong, but sometimes a two-piece isn’t practical (water-skiing anyone?) or you are just not in the mood to rock one. Whatever the case, we searched high and low for six one-piece swimsuits that are still cute enough to wear to the beach or hang out in poolside.
A low-cut suit will add just the right amount of sexiness without going overboard, which is why we’re fans of the Eberjey Charlie One Piece, $158 that also boasts and adorable print. Another plunging playful suit is the black one-piece from Splendid with a little keyhole at the bust.

Looking for some retro-inspiration? Why not try J.Crew’s Polka-dot Ruched Underwire Tank, $94, which is perfect if you’re smaller busted thanks to the underwire support that will help give you a little lift. A more fashion-forward one-piece is the Tara Matthews Reverie Cutout Halterneck Swimsuit, $175 that definitely requires sunscreen to avoid awkward tan lines.
For an affordable one-piece, we suggest hitting up Joe Fresh. The Striped Maillot swimsuit, $29 has a classic black and white pattern that will go beyond this summer, while the Flora & Fauna swimsuit from French Connection will add a burst of colour to your beach look.
