She’s a singer and Academy-Award winning actress, but can we call the American Idol alum a designer? Well, Jennifer Hudson just announced she will be launching a 14-piece collection for QVC this September. Jennifer, who has went from a size 16 to size 6 with Weight Watchers, told Women’s Wear Daily that she is designing not only for her former frame and current size, but all of the shapes in between. “I feel like I represent every woman,” Jennifer told WWD. “I’ve been on both sides of the fence.”
So what kind of clothes should you expect to find? Definitely leggings, as Jennifer calls herself a “legging queen,” a sheer maxidress, knit dress and charcoal grey coat (pictured on Jennifer). Price-wise, the most expensive item is the grey coat, which retails for $170.
Jennifer joins the ranks of other celebrities who have designed for QVC, including Heidi Klum who launched a holiday jewellery line, Rachel Zoe, the Kardashians and Nicole Richie. What do you think about this collaboration? Are you excited?
