Jeanne Beker’s show Fashion Television might no longer by on the air, but that doesn’t mean she’s slowing down. The author, fashion interviewer extraordinaire, contributor to our very own Real Style Magazine, and even a runway model- has let us in on a sneak peak of the fall collection for her fashion line ” Edit’. The clothes offer a range of stylish basics, from jackets to jeans and dresses, all made for feminine and trendy women. They are perfect for women who are constantly on the go that want to be comfortable yet stylish at the same time.

Her newest pieces were grouped according to four top trends that she predicts will be hot for the season— colour blocking, cape style jackets, faux-fur outerwear, and lustrous sequins. We saw a lot of form fitting dresses and skirts accompanied by draped capes and ponchos. The collection stuck to a mainly neutral colour palette of black, grey, and camel, but added pops of plum, orange, and mustard yellow. We especially loved the leather detailing that adorned a few coats and leggings, as well as the on-trend use of Lurex and sequins for the holidays. Fur is also back in a major way as the sole fabric of structured vests and cropped coats.
