This is always a fun time to sit back and reflect. Looking back at our readers’ favourite fashion trends of the year, we were delighted to see that one of our favourites –floral print dresses– made the cut. Floral prints were a popular choice on the Spring and Summer runways as expected, but even more surprising was that they have stuck around to give us winter prints as well. See this post we did on our favourite florals.

From miniature buds to large and in-charge blossoms, floral prints are a fail safe option for summer.
D&G opted for a sweet bouquet of small florals on a mini ruffled sun dress. Sky-high teal wedges amped up the vamp factor a notch to balance out the girly vibe.

Erdem showed beautiful floral explosions paired with Nicholas Kirkwood floral print shoes that laced up the calf. Matching florals sounds like a dangerous mix but stick with a similar colour palette for a cohesive finish.

This is very true, it was great to see floral patterns and bold prints in general do so well in 2011.
Do you think we’ll see floral patterns and/or bold prints doing as well in 2012?
