Real Style Network – What are the hottest fashion trends for fall and winter 2010/2011?
Joe Mimran – This season it’s all about texture. We are seeing a lot of chunky knits, leather and faux fur on the runway. In regards to colour we are seeing a lot of camel shades and greys, which is just classic. I always love working with neutrals but it’s also important to spice it up with colour! Also the military look is still huge, stud details and dark greens.
Real Style Network – What are the new essential wardrobe pieces all women should have in their fall 2010 wardrobe and why?
Joe Mimran – Every women should have a statement coat; from a super chic military inspired coat to a puff parka. I love the idea of faux fur this season, worn as a leopard print jacket to a fantastic scarf. Also a slim black pant should always be a staple. This season we are seeing it pleated, cropped or super slim.
Real Style Network – What are the best new accessories for the upcoming season and why?
Joe Mimran – The kitten heel is making a huge come back, it’s classic and elegant. But on the flip side of that we are also seeing the Brogue or a chunky desert boot on the runway that can really carry a look.

Joe Mimran – It’s all about working with the staple pieces in your wardrobe. Mix a great classic white shirt with mohair or faux fur, or maybe a sporty sweat.

When they first launched in a grocey store it was ” Are you kidding me?”, but Joe really knows what he is doing and the clothes are actually great. Not high fashion, but to get some quick and easy pieces like vests and jackets..the place is amazing

Joe Fresh is great, stylish clothes at reasonable prices. I was not really into the idea of a grocery store offering clothes but they won me over
Joe Mimran understands the business of fashion. He made Club Monaco a success. Sometimes as we have seen the designers get way too caught up in the fashion fantasy world and forget that real people need to actually be able to wear the clothes.
