Karl Lagerfeld announced that he is teaming up with the fashion label Hogan for a special Spring/Summer 2011 project. News hasn’t been released on what the special project will be. Hogan is known for their leather handbags and shoes. It’s speculated that Karl Lagerfeld will bring his style to their products.
Last week Madonna announced her first clothing line, now she has more fashion news. Madonna has signed a deal to create sunglasses with Dolce & Gabbana. Six co-designed shade will be released in May under the MDG logo. People reports the designs include retro black shades and gold and silver frames. This is a piece of a long list of collaborations between Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana that include the recent ad campaign together.
A $1.5 million dress will be the spotlight of Miami Fashion Week next week. The gown was designed by Jad Ghandour and Danasha Luxury as the ultimate red carpet gown. Sketches of the dress show an airy silver gown with a handset made of diamonds and 18k gold. It is locked away until March 20th when a secret celebrity will wear it on the runway.
