Real Style Network is very proud to work with some of the top fashion designers in the world. In this Real Style Network’s exclusive feature, we asked the super hot Smythe‘s fashion designers Christie Smythe and Andrea Lenczer, what some of the top trends for spring 2010 are. Take a look at their answers below.
1. Hottest fashion trend for Spring 2010 is?
Surplus, surplus, surplus. Jackets, shirts, cargo pants, shorts and mini skirts in army green or khaki. Combat boots look amazing for pre-spring season too.
2. Three things every woman should have in her wardrobe for spring?
a. A trench coat. You can invest in an updated silhouette or add a wide grommeted belt to your existing trench.
b. Something metallic. Add a little shine to your distressed t-shirt and jeans. Metallics are best worn in a casual manner… can get too high school prom when you dress it up.
c. Animal Print. This must be done carefully to avoid looking Siegfried and Roy. One and only one animal print at a time. Minimal accessories are best.
3. The must have accessory is?
A Brunswick & Co Doctor’s Bag. Available at Augustina this spring.
Find Smythe at Bloomingdales and Saks and better quality boutiques. Make sure to visit their website for specific locations.
