Reading our fashion twitter feed on the fashion pages, we at Real Style saw some very exciting news from Burberry.

Burberry announced on Twitter today that they will be joining Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and other fashion designers who are embracing the web by streaming their Fall 2010 Menswear fashion show live from Milan this Saturday Jan.16, 6 p.m Milan time or 12 noon EST on their site here.

Burberry designer Christopher Bailey posted a video on Youtube with the official announcement, which you can watch below.

In other Burberry news/ The Photoshop Story Update :

Burberry has recently been caught up in the Photoshop scandal which seems to be plaguing many magazines and fashion houses. Many bloggers have been calling foul on their recent ad campaign for Spring-Summer starring Harry Potter star Emma Watson and her brother. Some are saying that the ad shown above has been photoshopped to chop off her leg but others claim that the positioning of the photo may have just had Emma Watson’s leg perfectly placed behind her brother’s thus blocking it from view. Seems like every photoshop scandal  gets a ton of publicity lately, it probably won’t be long until some fashion house decides to ‘accidentally’ get into photoshop trouble just for the publicity. In any case, take a look and decide for yourself whether Burberry is guilty of overzealous photoshopping or not.

i dont think the leg is photoshopped, still it’s a crummy pic to put up..both of the models look gross ( yeah i know they are actors) still. And poor production. so yeah maybe they used it on purpose to get some buzz with the ” is it or isn’t it” chatter

Streaming the fashion show live is fantastic! Now those of us who cannot get to Milan will be able to experience it in real time.

  3. friendster says:

the scandal is ridiculous. who cares? personally i like they look fine perhaps a little thin, but fine.

  4. kiki says:

streaming online makes sense. all can see and make decision on whether w’re interested in buying.

  5. junebug says:

the pic is blurry, but they look fine. the cutting off of the leg was simply an editorial/creative mood not some crazy message
