Andy The-Anh loves the color blue : aqua blue, royal blue, sky blue. We at Canada Style like it also, there is something fresh, blue sky /turquise ocean feel about the color. We also liked the light chiffon fabrics Andy has used for many of his gowns, as in “ floating on a cloud”.
For Spring-Summer 2010, Andy The-Anh has included more separates than every before. His jackets are the stars of the show for this season. Structured jackets with bold necklines and interesting architectural lines come in every colour from bold blues and pinks to subtle tan and white.
Andy also works his classic tailoring on the sheath dress, a must have for the season. While the little black dress is a staple for every wardrobe for winter and spring alike we quite liked the beige sleeveless sheath with the waist detailing. Throw a jacket over it and it works perfectly for the office, pair with a bold necklace and you are ready for the evening. The black waist cut-ins also create a slimming effect on the waist. ( see picture below).
Another favorite outfit of Canada Style is the white dinner suit. The off the shoulder jacket gives a nice line to the decolettage and shoulder area and is not “over the top” . The look can also be divided to create more outfits. Pair the pants with any top to dress up or make a look more casual.Wear the jacket with a pencil skirt in any color for another elegant evening look.
