This is a great video where fashion designers from the 1930′s try to envision what people of the future , as in us, will be wearing by the year 2000. Halo lady notwithstanding,some of the predictions are earily accurate. Here are some fun modern day fashion comparisons to present day fashion collections.

Of course Christian Dior collection based on 1930′s and 40′s glamour fashions could be a video shot in the 1930′s. Just make it black and white!

Does this mean we all look like futuristic people? I didn’t feel like we looked funny, but I guess to people from 80 years ago we do. In the grand scheme of things 80 years isn’t that long. I wonder what the people from the 1700′s would think.
