Snowboarder Shaun White has chopped off his signature curly red hair for charity! The famous ginger has chopped off his hair and donated his locks to Locks of Love, which provides hairpieces made from real human hair to kids suffering from hair loss due to medical issues. Shaun has been tempted to go short for quite a while now, but it turns out the charity, and no doubt the desire to do good around the holidays, made him do it.

“I’ve been thinking about this one for a while … but it’s for a good cause so I want to do it.” says Shaun White in the video below of the snowboarder getting his hair cut off. “Somebody needs itmore than I do.”
