Taylor Swift & Conor Kennedy Split!

Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy have broken up, Us Weekly just confirmed! We guess that means Taylor will have a ton of new song material for a new album very soon. Despite meeting 18-year-old Conor this past summer, Taylor got intense with her Kennedy really fast, even buying a home near Conor’s family estate on Cape Cod. Apparently, we were very, very wrong! Despite rumours that Taylor was totally infatuated with the Kennedy family and was dating Conor just to live out her dream of being American royalty, Taylor and Conor still managed to keep their relationship low-profile and seemingly easy-going. Hopefully for Conor’s sake things ended peacefully. We all know that Taylor loves to write revenge songs about her ex-boyfriends, and we’re sure the Kennedy family would hate to have their dirty laundry aired out and set to the beat of a pop-infused country song.

Apparently there are no hard feelings between the couple. Taylor’s just too busy hitting the road with her new album Red while Conor is — as we mentioned — still trying to wrap up his final year of high school.
