Arrow has been heating up television screens this fall as the hunky Stephen Amell bares his abs and fights crime and corruption as the bow wielding billionaire Oliver Queen. The show has been getting buzz for just how sexy the superhero is, but Amell follows a long line of hot heroes coming to save the day. We have counted down some of our favourite sexy superheros:
Chris Evans as Captain America
There is certainly a lot of eye candy in The Avengers from the suave Robert Downey Jr, to the hunky Thor to the sexy Black Widow, but it’s Captain America who has the boy next door charm that could win anyone over. It’s not just Chris Evans’ bulked up bod that has us drooling, but also his smile and care for all. There is a level of innocence that makes you want to bring this hot superhero home to mom.
Halle Berry as Storm
Halle Berry showed off her skills as a villain (Catwoman), but we liked her more as the white haired weather controlling member of the X-Men. Storm has a silent intensity that we just loved. Her leather suit as she made the wind whip around her didn’t hurt either. At least we know Halle will still look great with grey hair.
Angelina Jolie as Fox
While Angelina’s character Fox in Wanted may have been actually causing harm, her heart was in the right place. When she sacrifices herself for the better good in the end, she makes superhero status in our books. She is super sexy in this film with the famous scene where she steps out of the water nude to show off her back tattoos. This isn’t her first run as a superhero (don’t forget Lara Croft), so it’s no wonder she has sultry gun toting down to an art.
Jessica Alba as Sue Storm
A very blonde Jessica Alba stepped into her superhero suit as part of the Fantastic Four. This Invisible Girl is always so hot and her spandex suit and leather gloves are great. Combine that with her great smile and Sue Storm’s attitude and smarts and you have a winning combination.
Henry Cavill as Superman
Man of Steel doesn’t hit theatres until next year, but we are already dreaming about Henry Cavill holding us tight while we fly through the air. Henry showed his superhero ready skills and abs in last year’s Immortals. As the Man Of Steel himself we are sure to be wishing our name was Lois Lane next year.
