Kristen Stewart is allegedly losing sleep over her first scheduled appearance since her cheating scandal… and it just so happens to be in our hometown of Toronto. This particular Toronto International Film Festival is gearing up to be one of the most talked about film fests in recent history. A ton of Hollywood stars are lined up to show their latest films at TIFF, but Stewart is obviously one of the most anticipated high-profile faces of this year’s festival.

Although journalists have been instructed not to ask Kristen any questions about her affair with Snow White and the Hunstman director Rupert Sanders or her now broken relationship with former boyfriend Robert Pattinson, the actress is still apparently incredibly nervous to make her first formal appearance since news of her scandal broke this summer. We can’t say we blame her. Stewart has been deominzed by the press, as well as R-Patz fans, for allegedly breaking Robert Pattinson’s heart and crippling Sanders’ marriage to model and actress Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children.

Kristen is also a very dedicated and critically acclaimed actress and wants the attention to be on her new film On the Road and not on her personal life. With tomorrow being the first day of TIFF and Kristen’s film set to be one of the opening films of the festival, only time will tell if the critics give Kristen and her new film a fair chance and choose not to let her personal life influence their opinions. She’s only 22, and we all make mistakes. That shouldn’t take away from the fact that she’s one of the best actresses of her generation.
