We still haven’t seen a photo of Blake Lively’s Marchesa wedding dress, but the details of her wedding to Ryan Reynolds are starting to surface. As we mentioned earlier, although many people thought Blake would wear a Chanel wedding dress, since she is an ambassador for the brand, she actually wore a dress by Marchesa. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the duo behind the Marchesa label, released a statement about the details of Blake’s dress, describing it as having “hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery.” The bridal party also wore Marchesa. Georgina and Keren said each bridesmaid dress was a “unique custom blush silk chiffon Marchesa gown with crystal embroidered detail.”

Although the wedding was small — the guest list only included about 60 family members and friends — Blake had all three of her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars at the ceremony. America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel all made it to South Carolina to watch Blake tie the knot with Ryan. The four actresses have remained close friends after starring in both 2005′s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and 2008′s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
Blake and Ryan decided to get married at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina where The Notebook was filmed. Interestingly enough, Blake actually dated Ryan Gosling briefly after splitting with longterm boyfriend and Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley. We’re glad that little detail didn’t cause Ryan Reynolds any reason to say no to the Boone Hall Plantation wedding location! Part of the reason the duo decided to tie the knot in the South is allegedly because Southerners are known for being hush-hush when it comes to keeping weddings on the down-low. Blake and Ryan even kept their engagement a secret, which is probably the best way to keep the media out of the picture when getting ready to walk down the aisle. Take note, Hollywood!
After the couple made their way down the aisle, they recited vows to each other that they wrote themselves. “They promised to support and love each other and to make each other laugh,” a source told People magazine. Ryan allegedly “said he would treasure Blake; she said she would adore him. The whole time they were beaming,” according to People.

For the wedding party, Blake’s good friend Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine performed for the intimate soiree. Blake’s eyes apparently welled with tears when Florence sang a cover of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
As for the food, the couple hired Bakehouse Bakery Cafe to cater their wedding day sweets! The bakery told Perez Hilton: “We did the mini chocolate bun cakes with a chocolate ganache in the middle. We also did our s’more bars, which are homemade vanilla marshmallow with a graham cracker crust and our chocolate ganache. We made enough for 65 people.”
On top of the goodies, the guests also enjoyed a $3,000 wedding cake by Maggie Austin Cakes, that was brought in from Maryland, according to the NY Daily News.

So now that the wedding is over, will they honeymoon? Just yesterday, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were spotted shopping and holding hands in Charleston, South Carolina. No word yet on whether they plan to go on a more extended honeymoon. Either way, we’re thrilled for the newly married couple and happy to hear that they pulled off their secret wedding successfully!
