True Blood Season Finale Predictions-Bill Linked To Warlow? Russell Meets True Death? Jason A Vampire?

If you have been following our weekly recaps, you know this has been helluva of a roller coaster ride on this season of True Blood. Here are our predictions about where the season finale is heading:

1. Bill’s not so evil after all
Bill hasn’t always been the most likeable character, and we can all agree that he’s definitely not going to win a congeniality contest this season. His recent turn to the dark side would be a lot more believable if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s always been all about Sookie. We used to get a good laugh out of hearing Bill say “Sookie!” in his Southern accent, but this season we’ve barely heard a funny catchphrase out of him. We have a feeling he might be on the side of good after all. He’s dealing with vampires who are centuries old! He’d have to be a good liar to fool them into thinking he was actually on their side if he wanted things to turn out his way, right? It’s possible that he’s been carefully winning the trust of the crazed Sanguinistas so that he can take over as the Guardian and make things right. We don’t want to believe that he will let any harm get to Sookie. In fact, when Warlow and/or Russell come after Sookie, he will arrives in time to save her. Then there is the potential tie in to Warlow….he did know that Sookie was special after all (see #4)!

2. Alcide will take control of the wolf pack
For the very same reason that we truly believe Joe Manganiello should have had a bigger part in Magic Mike, we also think he needs an even bigger part on True Blood. It’s no secret that shows often revamps (pun intended) their story lines to give more time to characters who viewers care about, and we have a feeling that Alcide’s character is going to get set up for more air time in season 7. Besides, with Hoyt off to Alaska, there’s more room for Alcide’s story line. Did you notice we finally got flashbacks to his childhood last week? That’s a True Blood sign that a character is about to become more prominent. We think Alcide will chase J.D. out of the wolf pack by the end of season 6 to get things in place for season 7, where the wolf pack will be a major player in the plot line (after all, the vampires stole Emma, which means the Shifters might join the wolves in solidarity against the vamps).

3. Russell Edgington is captured and killed by vampires, but not without a major fight
Fool Eric Northman once, shame on you, Russell Edgington. Fool him twice… We all know there’s no fooling Eric twice. Whether or not you believe Eric has converted to a Sanguinista or not is really beside the point. With Russell showing his true hedonistic colours last week, all the vampires are out to take him down. As we know from past attempts, Russell’s a hard vamp to take down, thanks to his age. But Eric has 1,000 years under his belt. We’re predicting one of the best fight scenes in True Blood history.

4. Bill is linked to the mysterious Warlow
If Bill doesn’t turn out to be a good guy in wolf’s clothing, then we’re going to wager a guess that Bill’s maybe been devilish all along. In fact, we think he will be linked to the mysterious Warlow who killed Sookie’s parents. After all, why has Bill been so obsessed with Sookie all these years? And remember when Bill had that mysterious file on Sookie when he came to town years ago? Bill’s link to Sookie has never been fully explained, and we have a feeling we’re going to see a very dark side of Bill’s past.

5. Nora snaps out of it
We really wanted to like Nora, back when she rescued Bill and Eric at the beginning of the season, but her obsessive Lilith worshipping has really put a damper on her likability. With Russell turning on the Sanguinistas to become a full-fledged terrorist feeding off of whoever he chooses, we have a feeling that the threads that hold the Sanguinistas will unravel fast this week, proving that they were hallucinating once and for all. If anyone can talk some sense into Nora, it’s Eric. They’re brother and sister, after all, in the creepiest way imaginable.

6. Jason almost becomes a vampire
In the promo for this Sunday’s episode, Jason is lying in a grave with an apologetic Jessica. We know the promo’s supposed to make us question whether Jessica’s about to turn Jason into a vampire or watch him die, but we’re going to go out on a limb and say that Jason will be just fine. He’s one of the only characters who manages to survive everything will little harm done, and the show would lose a significant amount of its very limited light-heartedness if Jason went to the undead side.. or worse, the dead side.

Actually I think Russell will have a showdown with Warlow. He’s pumped up on Elder faery blood and the light attacks of the combined younger faeries don’t seem to hamper him at all. Warlow is more than just a vampire which he would require in order to defeat the likes of edgington. Bill cannot be Warlow given the established timeline.
