Here’s what happened this week on our True Blood recap.
The first True Blood factory is already burning down when we get there. I guess the vampires are wasting no time! Now the new Authority is celebrating the beginning of the revolution with a human feast. With the help of techie Molly, Eric is working on a way to get free of this crazy new cult with Nora and Bill. Eric is still angry at Bill for giving them the True Blood idea and changing his ideals. We thought Bill was faking it, but it turns out Bill is actually believing in all of this Lilith stuff. He’s having a crisis of faith, but Eric knows about Sookie and knows how much Bill loves her. He convinces him to help break out.
The police have Jessica and they think Hoyte is a suspect in her kidnapping. Jessica tries explaining and she knows that Hoyte is in trouble, because she can’t feel him anymore. She freaking out, but Jason promises to find him. After some research, Andy and Jason find out that this gang called The Obamas are copying themselves after an old KKK clan in the area with a leader called “The Dragon.” Luna wants to help Sam find the The Obamas as well, now that she is back to her own body.
Sookie asks for Lafayette’s help to get rid of the weird spirit in her bathroom. While trying to find something, he gets a message from Sookie’s Gran about a clue that could lead them closer to the murderer. Sookie goes to see the old sheriff Bud for hints as to their death. He admits it could have been a vampire that killed her parents, but it was before they knew about vamps. When Sookie listens to his thoughts she realizes that Bud is hiding something. Bud’s wife hits Sookie with a pan when she starts asking too many questions. She wakes up beside Hoyte in a pig pen and he is out cold. Sookie tries to use her fairy power to free them both, but she has used it up. That’s what you get!
It looks like she found “The Dragon” when an Obama walks into the barn. At about the same time, Jason and Andy figure out Bud is behind this thanks to a YouTube video. Even though the police won’t let them get involved, Sam and Luna shift into flies to overhear Andy and Jason.
It turns out Bud is being controlled by his crazy new wife. They plan on getting rid of all of the supernatural beings and taking over the USA. She is controlling the whole thing because her husband left her for a shifter. They try to feed Sookie to the pigs, but Sam already there shifted into a pig and saves her. He fights off the Obamas as long as he can. Andy and Jason get there in time to shoot Bud before he kills Sam. Luna chases the crazy woman and holds her down, punching her. Jason goes to find Hoyte who is still hasn’t woken. Hopefully this will mean a new start for Jason, Hoyte and Jessica.
Arlene is freaking out about the message from the other side. Terry wants to find Patrick and fight him to the death. He figures it is the fair way to solve this. Before Terry can find him, Patrick takes Arlene hostage at Merlotte’s. Terry goes to find them and he won’t fight Patrick. Arlene attacks Patrick before he can kill Terry stabbing him with her hair clip. She steals the gun off of him and wants Terry to kill him. Patrick is smooth and almost convinces him to let him go. Before Terry can make a decision he sees a vision of the Iraqi lady. She gives him strength to kill Patrick. He pleases her spirit and the ifrite takes Patrick’s body. Hopefully this is the end of this storyline and we can move on from the Ifrite and forget it ever happened!
At Fangtasia, Pam plans on keeping up business as usual despite the True Blood shortage. She tells Tara to serve True Blood and quietly feed off humans. She doesn’t want herself or Tara involved in the politics. Then one night a new vampire tries sitting in Eric’s throne. When Pam tries to kick him out he says that he is the new sheriff and they are allowed to feed on humans now.
Alcide is leaving the pack with fond memories of his first pack and his pride and love with his father and Debbie. He goes to see his father who lives in a trailer. Apparently he doesn’t have a pack either, but there is clearly some bad blood between them.
Russell and Reverend Steve go to Alcide’s old pack. It turns out Russell is the vampire controlling the pack by feeding them his blood. It should come as no surprise. It was Russell controlling Debbie with blood before too. When Russell is feeding the wolves, Martha make him angry by turning down his blood. To teach her a lesson he takes little wolf cub Emma and gives him to Steve as a present. Oh no! Now it’s a full on war between vampires, wolves and shifters!
At the Authority, Eric talks to Nora to find out how she got so brainwashed. Apparently Salome has been teaching her for a long time. Salome’s influence combined with her ambition caused his sister to turn so crazy. Eric says he wants to be with her, but it’s clearly a ploy. Bill is doing his part getting closer to Salome. She says they have been chosen to lead the new world together. While they are getting “close” Bill bites Salome and has another vision of Lilith. Meanwhile Eric drugs Nora to escape with her. Before they leave, Bill turns up blocking their escape route with Authority police and Salome. He revealed his plan and now Eric is arrested and in big trouble. How could Bill do that?
