Here’s what happened tonight in our True Blood recap:
When we return to the Authority, it looks like Bill has lost the plot. He’s hearing voices and seeing visions of Lilith. His hallucinations are telling him to drink all of Lilith’s blood and rule the vampires. Either Bill is going to turn all bad or this crazy vision is going to set him straight. Jessica see that Bill and the vampires are losing it and tries calling Jason to warn him, but Bill stops her. He says they can’t worry about human problems anymore. Jessica suggests that she could make Jason a vampire so they can be together to please Lilith. Bill sees through her sneakiness and calls her bluff. He sends Jessica with guards to capture Jason. Jessica arrives at Jason’s and tries to warn him. She bites him before her guards can step in and hurt him. While you may have thought Jessica actually changed Jason, when the guards start burying them he jumps up and shoots them in the heart. It was all a trick! Phew! Jessica does say she wouldn’t mind spending eternity with him. I hope this isn’t foreshadowing. He runs off to warn Sookie about Russell. When Bill finally goes to drink Lilith’s blood it turns out he’s not the only one who has been seeing visions. Bill kills Kibwe when he says he was also chosen. Salome also see a vision telling her to drink the blood. Jessica arrives back at the authority before Bill can follow through. We see a big showdown coming up for who wants to be the ruler.
Nora is having a hard time since seeing Goderich brutally murdered. Salome senses something is changing in her little protege. Nora goes to Eric, who is going stir crazy, for help. She apologizes and wants to come up with a plan while the two have a very sexy reunion. A General from the US Government army shows up at the Authority. Apparently Roman had a deal with the army and the government to keep the peace and balance. Now it’s going to be all out war if they can’t agree. They know the vampires bombed the True Blood factories and there is video of Russell killing people. Eric kills the General when he blackmails and threatens the vampires, but the Authority know this could mean real trouble. It looks like this was all a plan to allow Eric and Nora to leave. They offer to go find copies of the video and glamour everyone so the humans don’t start a war. Bill seems to be onto them, but Eric and Nora slip out before he can protest. Bill sends them with guards, which Eric stakes the first chance he gets. He and Nora shoot off into the sky running from the Authority.
Sookie is dealing with the knowledge that she was sold to a vampire hundreds of years ago. She’s staying safe at the fairy bar. She meets the elder fairy for advice and knowledge, but that woman is has gotten weird with time and won’t stop dancing. Sookie tries to get answers about Warlow and the contract, but she says it is forbidden to talk about. She says there is a reason Sookie finds vampires irresistible. Just when she is going to tell Sookie, Jason shows up warning them about Russell. The fairies decide they are going to fight Russell finally. Jason running out to lead the charge. Jason and Sookie have a sweet moment that makes me concerned. There is too much foreshadowing Jason’s death in this episode!
The fairy lady who Andy slept with visits him asking for protection for her and their baby. Yep, Andy is going to be a dad! Yikes! Andy thinks she’s lying about this being his baby and he’s trying to start a relationship with Holly. The fairy says that not caring for her and the baby is dishonorable and is cause for war. Oh no! Human versus fairy war! Could this be next season?
Pam is serious about Tara killing the new sheriff. She tries to explain that the Authority rules to her and how vamp on vamp killing is frowned upon. Remember, this is how Jessica became a vampire in the first place as Bill’s punishment for killing a vampire. Jessica interrupts them asking Pam for help. She has run and wants hiding in return she will tell Pam where Eric is. Pam keeps her hidden away and is worried about Bill and Eric. One of the authority members, Rosalyn, shows up at Fangtasia looking for the new sherriff. She knows he was killed and Pam gets arrested for confessing to the crime. She also finds Jessica hiding out in the office.
Sam and Luna realize that they are in some freaky vampire headquarters. They need to find Luna now before they get found out. They find Luna but not before the vampires find them. Sam offers to be taken to Bill as dinner. We guess he is hoping for some sympathy from his old pal, but they were never friends, so who knows what Sam is thinking.
Alcide is still staying with his father. It looks like they are in danger because of all of the new vampires being made. We learn that his father was kick out of his pack for stealing money. Now his father is just an angry drunk. We are sure Alcide will run for the hills when he sees himself following the same path. When some baby vampires show up Alcide challenges his father to be a man and he saves his life at the last minute.
While Jason stands guard at Sookie’s house, Russell and Steve show up and glamour him into revealing where Sookie and the fairies are. When they get to the field they go crazy for the delicious fairy smell. Eventually the elder fairy goes out to them. She accidentally shoots Jason with her light power sending him flying away. Oh no! Russell take the opportunity to attack her and drinks her dry. He loves his fairy blood and she was full fairy not just half like Sookie. After drinking her, he can see the entrance to bar clearly. He goes to get them. Oh no! We can’t wait to see what happens on the True Blood finale now!
