Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles topped Forbes magazine’s World’s Highest Paid Celebrity Couples list of 2012. Jay and B define what it means to be a power couple! Last year, they made an estimated $78 million. Beyonce was actually the breadwinner, making $40 million from sponsorship deals, sales of her 4 album and royalties. Did we mention she also had the couple’s first baby this year, daughter Blue Ivy? What a woman! Jay-Z made the other $38 million from his Watch the Throne album and tour with Kanye West, and his many side projects like his nightclub and his Roc Nation company.

Last year, Jay and B came in second behind Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, but this year they’ve knocked Tom and his supermodel wife into second place. Tom and Gisele made $72 million from her modelling gigs and his four-year, $72 million contract extension with the New England Patriots. Tom’s been flexing his modelling muscle too, with gigs with Under Armour and UGG Boots.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham came in third place with $54 million, just in front of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who made $45 million. Rounding out the top five is Will and Jada Pinkett Smith who made around $40 million.
Notably not on the list? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Though the couple made enough money together to make it onto Forbes list, we guess they’re not technically a couple anymore. Way to be on top of the celebrity news, Forbes!
