2002: Prince Harry Goes To Rehab
You can’t be a typical teenager and a high-profile prince! In 2002, Prince Harry admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking underage. His dad, Prince Charles, then sent Harry to rehab — Featherstone Lodge Rehabilitation Sentre in south London, to be exact — when he was just 17. He stayed for 1 day.
2005: Prince Harry Makes A Poor Costume Choice
And we thought our Catwoman costume for the office Halloween party was in bad taste! Back in 2005, Harry was photographed wearing a swastika band around his arm at a costume party. Harry sent out a public apology after the incident, stating: “I am very sorry if I caused any offence or embarrassment to anyone. It was a poor choice of costume and I apologise.”
2006: Prince Harry Makes An Offensive Video
In 2006, Prince Harry made a video of his life in the army. In the video, he jokingly used racial slurs to speak about his fellow soldiers, which sent the media into a frenzy.
2010: Prince Harry Injures His Horse
During a polo match in 2010, Prince Harry’s rode an off-white horse who appeared to have stab wounds on his side from Harry’s spears. A spokesperson for St. James Palace insisted that Harry stopped playing as soon as he realized that his horse was injured.
