Even if they are not the brightest men around with college degrees and large vocabulary, we love these TV hunks for their hot bodies, sense of humour and kind hearts. See our favourite ‘dumb hunks’ TV characters.
Jason Stackhouse on True Blood
We would love a glimpse into the psyche of Jason Stackhouse to find out how he continually gets into these ridiculous predicaments without ever learning his lesson. It started in season 1, when Jason was accused of murder and had an unfortunate V overdose. It only got worse from there included joining the Fellowship Of The Sun and believing he was a werepanther. For every dumb situation Jason encounters, there is a shot of his hot body while he woos every woman in Bon Temps. That and his big heart are the true reason why the ladies keep coming back to Jason Stackhouse. Read our True Blood recaps for all of Jason’s escapades.
Michael Kelso on That 70’s Show
Before Demi, Ashton won our hearts as the beautifully dumb Michael Kelso. He was the party guy of the group who was always up for just about anything. He had all of the show’s best lines that would have us in stitches every episode. His charm, smile and Farrah Fawcett inspired hair helped win the hearts of Mila Kunis, Shannon Elizabeth and girls around the world. His unwavering love of his friends and family (his brother was played by Luke Wilson) showed there was more to this dummy than meets the eye.
Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl

For someone so smart, Nate Archibald never seems to learn. He may be be running his own newspaper and taken part in numerous schemes, but in his own life Nate is constantly getting duped. It is Nate’s good heart that draws people to him, to only have them use it against him. Even his own father and grandfather have used Nate to fulfill their own agenda. Almost every girl has used Nate, including his best friends Serena and Blair. Do you blame them? Those baby blue eyes combined with how good he looks in a suit makes Nate one of our favourite reasons to tune in week after week. Catch up in our Gossip Girl recap.
Joey Russo on Blossom

Joey Lawrence practically defined the dumb hunk when he first said “Whoa” on network television. Girls of the 90’s fainted at the sight of his feathered locks. Joey was the ultimate dumb jock. He was good at sports, good with the ladies, but lacking in the common sense and school smarts department. Even Blossom’s best friend Six could appreciate his muscular arms and bad boy leather jacket. It didn’t matter to us though because he loved his little sister Blossom and did the right thing when it came down to it.
Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman on Glee

Puck is New Directions’ smoldering bad boy with look and a body that could kill. This hottie has shared a scene with practically every girl in Glee club. We were in so love with his bad boy persona, that it didn’t matter that he wasn’t the brightest of the gang. Now that he has revealed his soft side by falling in love and fathering a baby, we are hooked.
