Age: 22
She’s got a contract with CoverGirl and a fourth album due out this fall, and she’s still collecting cash from her 2012 album, Speak Now, which has sold over 5 million copies. Throw in the fact that Taylor Swift performed 65 tour dates this year that grossed over $1 million a night, and we predict that you’ll see Taylor on top of this list again next year.
No. 2 Justin Bieber, $55 million
Age: 18
He’s barely legal, but Justin Bieber is making legitimate mad cash, thanks to selling over 12 million albums since he broke onto the music scene in 2009. Taylor Swift might have a couple more million than the Biebs, but there’s no mistaking that Justin is the king of Twitter, with over 21 million followers.
No. 3 Rihanna, $53 million
Age: 24
She’s put on 85 concerts in the last year, but that hasn’t stopped Rihanna from promoting her fragrance Reb’l Fleur and a landing gig as the face of Nivea. Everything under the Rihanna umbrella seems to turn to gold.
No. 4 Lady Gaga, $52 million

No. 5 Katy Perry, $45 million
Age: 27
Katy Perry had five No. 1 singles off of her Teenage Dream album from 2010, making her the only artist besides Michael Jackson to have that many top hits off the same album. Although song sales still contribute to Katy’s wealth, she’s also a touring machine. Even her divorce from Russell Brand didn’t take her away from the road, and she managed to make a movie about her life on tour too: Katy Perry: Part of Me.
