Real-Life Tragedy For The Dark Knight Rises

Warner Bros. decided to respectfully cancel the Paris premiere of The Dark Knight Rises tonight, due to a tragedy that happened back in the United States. A gunman in Colorado killed 12 people at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises early Friday morning, and 38 other people were also injured. The gunman allegedly threw tear gas at an audience at a screening of the film at Century 16 Theater in Aurora, Colorado before opening fire. Police arrested a suspect in the theater’s parking lot after the incident.

Warner Bros. released the following statement after hearing of the tragic news:

“Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.”
