Even if she doesn’t go home with the gold metal, Canadian gymnast Dominique Pegg already had a once in a lifetime Olympic moment when Justin Bieber took to Twitter to tweet his support of the Olympic athlete:
Justin tweeted:
“@domip3gg sorry im late 2 the party. want to let you know as a proud canadian Im always supporting you and proud of you. STAND UP CANADA!

Pegg might be one of the top athletes in the world, but she’s still a teenage girl. The Olympian and Belieber tweeted back her excitement to Justin:
“@justinbieber OMG thank you so much for tweeting me!! Thank you for teaching me to never give up on my dreams! #lookatusnow! #believe!”
Pegg and the rest of the Canadian team are competing today in the team final, and apparently they’re relying on a little bit of Justin Bieber’s good luck and “Never Say Never” attitude to go for the gold. Pegg, who is also competing in the all-round, took to Twitter to see if maybe, just maybe, she could convince Justin to stop by the games to show his Canadian pride and support:
“Hey @justinbieber, are you gunna come watch us at team finals tomorrow? I’m sure I can get u a pass to get in
#TeamCanada #gymnastics”

Hey, stranger things have happened, thanks to the Twitterverse. Even if Justin can’t make it to the games today, we’re sure he’ll be there in spirit and in tweets.
