If you haven’t been following the Jackson family saga, we can’t say we blame you. It’s upsetting, to say the least, given that the late Michael Jackson’s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, have been drawn back into the spotlight by their own family. What’s at stake? Apparently, Michael’s fortune. All of his siblings were left out of his will, but Michael’s mother Katherine was left everything, including Michael’s three children. According to the tabloids, Michael’s siblings are kept Katherine sequestered until they could brainwash their mother
Here’s the play-by-play of the events thus far:
July 15
Katherine Jackson is supposedly on her way to Arizona to watch her sons in concert in Albequerque.
July 18
Michael’s siblings, Rebbie, Randy, Tito, Jermaine, and Janet Jackson release a publicly release a letter to the executors of Michael’s estate, John Branca and John McClain, asking for their resignation due to criminal misconduct surrounding the will. They also claim they have evidence that Michael was not even in California on the day the will was supposedly signed.
July 20
The tabloids begin to speculate that Randy and Jermaine are brainwashing Katherine in an attempt to make her seem incompetent so that she would need a conservatorship. If they managed to be successful, they’d have access to the $70,000 a month that Katherine gets from Michael’s estate.
July 21
Katherine Jackson has been missing for a week. Paris tweets: “yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now.” Trent Jackson, Katherine’s nephew, files a missing person report in Los Angeles.
July 22
With the authorities now involved, Katherine finally lets the police department know that she’s okay and that she’s in Arizona with her daughter, Rebbie.
July 23
A photo surfaces of Katherone at a spa. Meanwhile, police are called to the Jackson house in Casablancas after an altercation occurs between two now obviously different sides of the controversy: Paris, Prince and Blanket versus Janet, Randy and Jermaine. Security footage shows Janet trying to grab Paris’ cell phone out of her hand. TMZ reports that Janet called Paris a “spoiled little b*tch.”
July 24
Tito Jackson publicly retracts his signature from the July 17th letter to the Executors of Michael’s will and says he wants nothing to do with it anymore. Tito, Marlon and Jackie go on The Insider for a tearful interview in which they claim to not be able to reach their mother.

July 25
Tito’s son, TJ, is given temporary guardianship of Paris, Prince and Blanket at an emergency hearing. Katherine allegedly calls the Casablancas twice in the middle of the night sounding drunk or drugged. She orders that Janet’s security team replace the current one in Casablancas and fires Trent, insisting he leave the property.
July 26
Paris tweets, “grandma’s here! #thankyougod <33″ after Katherine arrives home in Casablancas.
Prince Jackson releases his own statement:
“I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side. As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt. The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother.”
