In might not come out until March 8, 2013, but Sam Raimi’s Oz: The Great and Powerful is already setting itself up to be the most buzzed about film of next year. That’s in part due to the film’s star-studded cast, which includes modern Renaissance man James Franco as Oz, “it” girl Mila Kunis as Theodora and America’s latest sweetheart Michelle Williams as Glinda, the Good Witch. If you were as enamoured by the original Wizard of Oz as we were growing up, then you’ll be fascinated by these still from the upcoming prequel, which tells the tale of how the Wizard of Oz became the ruler of Oz. Only six photos have been released so far, and clearly we’re most mesmerized by Michelle Williams as Glinda. We think her daughter Matilda will approve!
