EW Features Breaking Dawn Character Renesmee On Cover

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is still months away from being released (November 16th to be exact), but all ready the hype machine is starting to roll.  Entertainment Weekly is the first magazine to get the ball rolling, and this week they feature Bella, Edward and their child Renesmee on the cover.

11 year old newcomer Mackenzie Foy plays the wild child offspring, and is featured inside the magazine. “It’s a  hugely important part,” director Bill Condon told EW about how Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart interacted with their new costar. “They were amazing with her. It really brought something paternal out in Rob, and Kristen was especially protective. I’d have to interrupt them when they were in deep  conversation to get going with a scene.”

Stewart tells EW  “I loved chatting  with Mackenzie. I’m always curious about what’s  going on in the minds of kids on set. She’s really close to the age I was when I started.”  It wasn’t all fun in games though, as Pattinson talks about having to watch himself while on set with an 11 year old.  “We’re all around the same age and we’re really not polite to each other anymore.  You’d have to tone it down when Mackenzie was around.  She had a little swear jar, and I think she made 850 bucks or something.”

The new issue hits newsstands this Friday, and it features more of the interview as well as exclusive photos of the new movie.
