Sparks are flying and we think our sweet Bachelorette, Emily is in for some heartbreak. Yes this is a tv reality show – an oxymoron if there ever was one- but still, Emily just makes it all so believable. And if we are believing what we are seeing, this girl has developed some serious feelings for one race car driver Arie. At one point after their date she tells him ” Where did you come from?” and to the cameras she says ” Guys like Arie are hard to come by, I don’t want to screw this up”. Emily also sent two guys home before the rose ceremony. Here is the recap of what happened on tonight’s episode:
The show starts off with a one on one with Chris, a guy Emily find very good looking ( she told him- you have to love this girl’s candor). She is taken aback later though when he tells her that he is only 25. We think this will work against him in the end. The date the couple climbing a tall building , not something Emily is too fond of and ends with them dancing to a country and western band. They share their first kiss on the ‘dance floor’. Chris get the rose.
Next is the group date, where the guys who meet up at a park are in for an unexpected grilling by Emily’s four closest women friends. One woman in particular, Wendy, treats the whole exercise as though she was visiting a male strip show, having guys take off their shirts and dance. In the end the ladies tell Emily their favorites were Sean and the single dad, Doug.
Next is a one on one date with race car driver Arie. Not at all an arrogant egoist one might expect from someone in his profession, Arie is seemingly a warm and nice guy. He also tells Emily, pretty much all that she wants to hear: he is ready to get married, he is ready to have kids and settle down and he wants a woman who understands his lifestyle! They share some passionate kisses on the carousel ride, which continues at the house- in front of some of the other men. By the end of the date, Emily looks like she is ready to send all the other guys home and just go off with Arie. Arie gets a rose.
In between all of the dates, Tony the single dad develops a bad case of wanting to go home to see his son. Emily send him home early. He doesn’t seem to mind. Allessandro also gets sent home early, but its not as friendly. After having a one on one discussion with Emily, he tells her that he thinks that being with Emily and Ricky would be a compromise to his lifestyle. She gets upset. Allesandro goes home.
At the rose ceremony, Stevie the dancer from Jersey gets sent home. Our prediction for the final 3? Arie, Doug, Sean.
