In the latest twitter ‘fight’. Madonna responds to DJ Deadmau5 about her use of the word Molly during the Ultra music festival in Miami.
At the Ultra music festival in Miami last week, Madonna asked the 20something concert goers ” How many people in this crowd have seen Molly?”. Molly apparently being a reference to MDNA which is an ingredient in an illicit drug Ecstasy.
Deadmau5 , a famous electronic music DJ went on an angry rant against Madonna on facebook in saying that her actions were idiotic and that she should f##k off. This evening on twitter, Madonna responded to Deadmau. See their exchange:

To which Madonna posted a reply in the photo above. Saying ” From one mouse to another. I do not support drug use and I never have. I was referring to the song called ” Have you seen Molly?” written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my album”

While we appreciate that Deadmau5 was speaking out against what he thought was an encouragement for drug use ,we agree with Madonna”s response -communication is best. He should have checked out the facts before going off. In the meantime Madonna handled it gracefully. Have to say though,would have been fun to see Madonna respond to him when she was the wild child in the 80′s. The poor mouse would not have stood a chance…
