It appears as if the romance between Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively was nothing more than a summer fling. The duo, who were first linked together during the Cannes Film Festival, have confirmed that they have split up.
A source tells People that “It’s amicable. They’re friends.” The source also tells them that “distance and DiCaprio’s work commitments contributed to the breakup.”
Rumors about the break-up started to spread over the weekend, when Lively was spotted in Boston with Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds. The Boston Herald reports that the pair took a train to Boston together, and ended up having dinner to0gether. They also say that Lively was buying food for Reynolds apartment.
This is of course the second time the pair have been rumored to be dating. The first time was back in May when Green Lantern premiered, but the rumors quickly died as she confirmed that she was with Leo at that time.
