In some ridiculous news straight from the shores of Jersey, celebrity blogs are revealing that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has lost a lawsuit to trademark his name.
That’s right, The Situation wanted to trademark his nickname, so that no one else can use it. We aren’t sure there is a big demand for that name. The Situation actually wanted to use the name to start his own clothing line. We can hear our friends in the fashion blog cringing now. Let’s hope that clothing line doesn’t include male belly tops so he can show off his abs all day long.
The Situation lost his fight in court because someone already trademarked the company name ‘Situation’ and the word “The” in front of doesn’t make it that much different.
He could always use his real name. Nevermind, that would be crazy!
