We all think of what we would do with all of our money if we made as much as say Nicolas Cage.
Nicolas Cage’s movies made a total of $3.9 billion at the box office, yet he still owes $6 million in back taxes.
New York magazine did a little digging into Nicolas Cage’s past to find out just how he fell so far in debt. The things they revealed are interesting indeed. Maybe Nicolas, you didn’t need a pet shark. But lots of people have fish and aren’t in debt you say. Well then maybe he could have stopped at one island, instead of buying 2. His living accommodations include 3 castles and house that came with a 1955 Jaguar and an “array of shrunken heads.”
He owned a Lamborghini, which he bought for almost $500,000 and $1.6 million worth of comic books.
But the most ridiculous thing on the list is spending $276,000 on a dinosaur skull. Ok it’s cool to own a dinosaur, but maybe you could have lived without it.
Nicolas Cage is quoted in the story as saying, “I find ways of spending money that mystify everybody around me.” You can say that again!
