Since we are on the topic of baring assets, here are some that have been causing controversy. At least in this case it’s for a great cause..( Pammy are you listening?)
October is Breat Cancer Awareness month, so The Society in support of Rethink Breast Cancer created a sexy ad to get people’s attention. They put it on Youtube. It got lots of hits. The viewers came to see a sexy girl in a bikini and they got a message about Saving Boobs instead. Apparently this got some people up in arms saying it’s gone too far.
The ad stars MTV Canada’s Aliya Jasmine Sovani strutting her stuff in a white bikini and apparently people think the close up shots and sexy imagery are too much. Meanwhile CNN, The View and Good Morning America all picked up on the story.
Sexy ad? Yeah it is. Is it getting people’s attention who maybe never even thought of breast cancer before? Most definitely. No matter how sexy it is… it’s working! People are talking about breast cancer. Check out what CNN had to say and decide for yourself if it’s too much.

I don’t think the ad was too much. If it brings attention to the cause it is worth it, I wonder if it brought in any $$ for the cause??
They had the MTV girl in the video on CNN to interview the next day – apparently she also came up with the concept. Here is the most recent follow up on CNN http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/health/2009/09/24/dcl.bloggers.breast.cancer.cnn
