Salad gets a bad wrap for being boring and not so filling, but anyone who has ever successfully re-invented her diet will tell you that salad can be one of the most versatile dishes you’ve ever attempted to make. From fruit and nuts to colourful veggies and delicious seafood, the world is your oyster when you’re looking to make a delicious meal that also happens to be good for you. Here are some of the stars’ favourite salads that they’ve shared on Twitter.

Hilary Duff – Sunnyside Up Salad
Hilary Duff has been on a serious weight loss plan ever since giving birth to baby Luca in 2012. Luckily, she has big sis Haylie, who has a cook book in the works, to make her special meals once in a while. “Love it so much when haylieduff sleeps over and cooks me breakie!” tweeted Hil, along with a photo of a sunnyside up egg resting on a bed of greens and parmesan and hald an English muffin with jam.

Christy Teigen – Avocado, Tomato & Red Onion Salad

Christina Milian – Tuna Steak Salad
Christina Milian keeps carbs minimal by opting for tuna steak served on top of a light salad with apples and cherry tomatoes. It’s high in protein and low in fat.

Victoria Beckham doesn’t even splurge on her birthday. The Spice Girl celebrated her special day in 2012 with a pretty fruit salad instead of a cake.

Fruity salads that also incorporate greens are a great way to enjoy a bit of sweetness in your life without going over-board. Trisha Yearwood made this strawberry salad on her Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.
